Tron handles more stablecoin volume than any other blockchain. Nearly every crypto exchange supports USDT on Tron, giving it the widest off-ramp coverage.
Tron processes more USDT transfers than any other chain, with $1.00 network fees and 3-second settlement — the default for crypto remittances globally.
A Tron remittance works in three steps: (1) the sender buys USDT on a supported on-ramp exchange using their local currency; (2) the USDT travels across the Tron network, settling ~3 seconds with a network fee of $1.00 regardless of amount; (3) the recipient sells USDT on a local off-ramp exchange for their local currency and withdraws to their bank account.
RemitRoutes measures the total all-in cost of this path — on-ramp fee + network fee + off-ramp spread — alongside traditional providers for every supported corridor. No signup required to compare.

Tron carries the majority of global USDT (Tether) transactions. Because USDT on Tron is supported by virtually every cryptocurrency exchange worldwide, it offers the broadest off-ramp availability. This is especially important in corridors where smaller exchanges may only support Tron USDT deposits.
For small transfers under $50, the $1.00 Tron network fee is significant. But for typical remittance amounts of $200-$1,000, it represents 0.1%-0.5% — still far cheaper than the 5-8% average charged by traditional remittance providers. Cheaper alternatives like Stellar ($0.000001) exist if your corridor supports them.
USDT (Tether) and USDC (Circle) are both US dollar stablecoins pegged 1:1 to the dollar. The main difference is the issuer and reserve transparency. USDC is considered more transparent with regular audits. Tron primarily uses USDT, while most other chains in our comparisons use USDC.
Nearly all major exchanges support Tron USDT, including Binance, OKX, Luno, Bitso, Coins.ph, PDAX, Quidax, CoinDCX, VALR, Indodax, Buda.com, Mercado Bitcoin, BTCTurk, WhiteBIT, Bitkub, and BitcoinVN.
